Getting started
Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store, then open it from the toolbar to reveal the side panel.
Install the Alpha One desktop companion on the same computer. The extension talks only to that companion — it does not send your data to Precise Technology.
Accept the first-run notice. When the panel shows Connected, you're set.
Common questions
The panel says "not connected." Make sure the Alpha One desktop companion and gateway are running on this computer, then reopen the side panel.
Does Alpha One read my web pages? No. It does not read or modify page content. Any future connected-tab feature requires an explicit action by you.
Where does my data go? It stays on your computer, between the extension and the local companion. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data? Uninstall the extension and/or clear the Alpha One application data on your machine. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
